Julius Shulman (October 10, 1910 – July 15, 2009)  was an  architectural photographer in America, the most famous photograph of him was nameCase Study House which was built in Los Angeles, 1960. The photo that Shulman took was about the Mid-century of modern style in California also be known all over the world. His library of images are currently located inLos Angeles of the Getty Center.

About his work, every photo needs to be combined perception and understanding for the buildings and their place in the landscape and it also tells people about what the concept and background’s meaning of the architecture are, the hope and wishes of the society.

The photo that I took before is about the top of the building and the roof. Because most images that Julius Shulman took were similar like them. The different way of lines shows the different contrast of the architecture. Right or left dictions, straight or curve also give people different kinds of feeling. The black and white colours could let people pay more attention to the building’s space and structure not the scenery and make the architecture has a sense of design.
